Merivale Mall promoters to invest extra capital into the Christchurch retail centre

Fuel retailer Z Energy in capital raising for expansion and acquisitions

Stuff New Zealand reported that Fuel retailer Z Energy is going back to the bond market with a retail bond offering of up to $150 million.
Previously known as Greenstone, owners of the Shell retail and distribution network will offer 7-year bonds paying 7.25 per cent interest, maturing in August 2018, said the report.

Kathmandu founder Jan Cameron invests A$20 million in rival retailer Macpac

According to the New Zealand Herald, Kathmandu founder Jan Cameron has invested A$20 million in rival retailer Macpac after a five-year non-compete agreement expired last month.

REDgroup Retail sells 10 Whitcoulls stores at airports throughout New Zealand

The administrator for troubled Australasian book retailer REDgroup Retail has sold 10 Whitcoulls stores at airports throughout New Zealand to Australia-based travel specialist LS Travel Retail Pacific for an undisclosed sum, reported the New Zealand Herald.
