New Zealand Ambassador to Chair WTO Agriculture Negotiations

Trade Minister Tim Groser announced today that there is a consensus among World Trade Organisation members to appoint New Zealand’s WTO Ambassador, John Adank, as the new chair of the WTO Doha Round agriculture negotiations.

Fonterra acquires Full RD1 Ownership

Fonterra last month acquired 100 per cent of rural supplies chain RD1 in a move that will provide fresh opportunities for its shareholders. Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative acquires kiwi agriculture company-Dax

The National Business Review (NBR) Monday reported that Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative has purchased specialist agricultural manufacturer C-Dax for an undisclosed sum.
C-Dax pioneered the development of, and sells, a range of innovative agricultural spreading, spraying and measuring equipment for use on farm, including the C-Dax pasture meter.

Olam International attains 85.93% Shareholding in NZ Farming Systems
