The Sydney Morning Herald reported Foster’s has hiked its stake in one of New Zealand’s winegrowing region’s biggest contract wineries. The move is aimed at increasing Foster Group’s exposure to New Zealand’s Marlborough winegrowing region. The acquired firm, Rapaura Vintners, makes Marlborough wines for Babich Wines, Vavasour Wines and Foster’s own Matua Valley Wines label.
